Our Caregivers
A team of dedicated staff provides for the daily needs of the residents at the Home.
They are:
- Nurses, Nursing Aides and Healthcare Aides
- Physiotherapist and Therapy Aides provide physiotherapy for the residents to help improve their mobility through spinal peripheral joint mobilisation and manipulation
- Speech Therapist helps to enhance the speech and swallowing ability of the residents
- Nurse Educator identify learning and training needs of the staff, and coordinates and organises training activities to strengthen clinical practices
Regular volunteers also commit their time and talents to bring joy to the residents. They provide haircutting services, organise parties, as well as engage in other befriending activities with the residents.
Our Activities
Outings and Excursions
Volunteers take time to befriend our residents and organise social and recreational activities.
Residents who are more mobile have been brought to visit the zoo and other places of interest.
Art and Crafts
Some of our residents are talented artist in their own abilities. During Art and Craft sessions, these talented artists produce wonderful artworks that are used as cards and gifts for both corporate organisations and individuals.
Parties and Entertainment
Throughout the year, volunteers from organisations, civic groups and other organisations organise parties and provide entertainment programmes for the residents. The residents are always delighted to celebrate festive seasons and special days, receiving presents and enjoying much fun and laughter.
